A NEW POST!!! WHOOHOO!

I had a wonderful few days in Victoria last week with the kids and Brenna. I stayed at Heather's and it was great. There is a no pet policy but Heather got that waived and all was great until Brenna went into heat (nice), needless to say, I came home a day early.
So Luke is out of diapers and Brenna is in, poor girl.
Our vet said there is a strong connection with ligament and hip problems in dogs that are spayed or neutered too young so he felt we would be fine not doing the 'deed' until she was at least 10 months, WRONG, she is only eight months! The mess is bad enough but there is an 'intact' male (don't you love that phrase? Good line to use in a bar..."So are you an 'intact' male?" or the one that I like, " Wanna feed my alpaca?" It beats the old "Do you want to see my etchings?"
Wow, I really digressed...so there is an male dog who is allowed to wander the beach as he sees fit so I am expecting a visit any day. I wouldn't mind breeding her next heat but not this one and to a Duck Toller... that would just be sad.Other than all that I had a great time. I went to John Benson's Celebration of Life with the kids. I didn't really know John but I loved the way he wanted to say goodbye, put on a party with your favorite band playing good tunes, and I thank Gay (his wife) for inviting me. It was so nice and I would have loved to have spent more time dancing but I ended up in Norm & Sue's room with Sullivan and Sue. Sully was fast asleep and I just had a really nice time with Sue. I can see why my family & Norm love her. So while Sue and I talked about everything under the sun Jamie and her dad danced (and drank)the night away downstairs. Pretty damn cool.
So the rest of this post is pictures & I love you Sull even if you did give me your cold. The thing is you never even get cranky and I'm miserable!
Thanks again to Aunty Heather for the accomodations.

Gotta love laughing babies!
BATH TIMEfor everyone

On another note all the grand-trees are doing great! Sully's leaves are ready to burst out and Luke's spruce is growing as fast as he is. Evelyn's and Draidan's are going to be gorgeous too.
