WE MADE IT TO THE BEACH!

Heather and Paula were here last weekend and we actually managed to walk Beaver, Carlos and Bob down to the water. There were a few nervous moments but it went really well. I just have to learn to catch them and then walk two at a time. Like that's going to happen.

Heathery loves them so much.

Paula and Ryan are just naturals with these guys. The jury is still out on me.

It's been an absolutely terrifying few days. Our little Draidan gave everyone quite a scare but is doing much better. Jenny has absolutely amazed me, she is one tough lady, I'm so proud of her. She is home now and they are having to travel from one side of the city to the other to see their boy and trust me after that hellish delivery the last thing you want to do is be bounced around in a cab! Dann sounds so much better, he was is so madly love with his wife and son and they both managed to scare the crap out of him.
Anyway, he's a picture of our family's newest addition. Isn't he just absolutely adorable!!! I love you so much Draidan!

FINALLY!!!

We just heard at 7:00 a.m. that Draidan Soul Usher (I love his name) was born, I believe around 10:20 pm, Taiwan time, so about 6:20 a.m. our time . I don't have many details yet because the doctor was talking to Danny while he was talking to me and then Dann made his way back in with Jenny and she was calling for him and just sounded beyond exhausted, so we said goodbye.
I sounds like it was an absolutely horrendous 35 hour labour that ended with the baby being born unresponsive and blue. They did CPR and thankfully they are saying all vitals are good now. I will be really happy to hear from him later and hopefully everyone gets some rest. As Jamie would say, "I'll keep you posted" plus I'm sure Danny will post when he gets a minute.
I can't wait to see pictures of him!!! Welcome little Draidan, we love you so much!!!

WAITING FOR BABY BOY USHER...

We are still waiting for Dann and Jenny's little fellow to arrive but so far nothing. I am going to kick my little boy's butt when I next see him though because he wrote a phoney blog complete with picture, saying the baby had arrived and it had happened so fast he didn't have time to phone...he is sooooo his father's son and sister's brother!! It was really a cute baby though but as Gramma Sue pointed out he will probably be born on the next full moon and I think he will probably look like this...
