Today I got the O.K. to get rid of my cast/boot. YES!!! All is good, only somehow my doc never noticed the weird looking toe next to the one he operated on and when I got up this morning it was bending over my middle toe (such pretty feet I have). So I showed him and he sort of blew me off and then he came back and said, " Hmmm, looks like we'll have to do a little surgery here too." Great! All I can say is no one is touching either foot until after the wedding! I have to say though, the new fused big toe is absolutely amazing! I can't wait to get the other one done!
So as for the house...we listed this one Friday and if it sells we are moving to Anderton Rd. N. It's really exciting but it sure makes for an extremely busy time between trying to keep the house clean and trying to get ready for the wedding. Oh well, what's to be will be.

Now, onto the weekend!! She Who Cannot Be Named was here. And so were John & Sarah (one of Jamers 4 bridesmaids. Then we got a phone call and Heather and her buddy Jeff showed up as well. It was so much fun. We had a meal to die for, cooked by his worship, on Sunday night and had our sketchy almost new neighbours, Darcee & Chris over, as well as John's step-mom Marnie. Lots of laughs, 3 wet dogs (no, we didn't eat them), ahi tuna, steak, chicken...what can I say...gotta love Nautical Day Weekend.
It was just a wonderful weekend. We even took everyone to see the new house from Chris & Darcee's yard and I think we may even have Jamie convinced that it would be an amazing place to bring the grand-kids, or maybe not cause she says she will be staying at Darcee's just to hang out in her closet...
We finished the weekend sitting out on Sea Lure at anchor in Comox Bay, watching the fire works. Unfortunately John and Jamie had headed home but what a great way to end the weekend, with Heather and Jeff and a few good friends.
Next stop!!! September 8th! The big wedding day... so much to do!!!!!
