SNOWBIRDS

The Snowbirds did their show over the marina on Saturday morning and it was beautiful as always. The weather could have been nicer but atleast they managed to get the entire show done unlike last year when the wind was buffeting them around so much they had to quit.
We watched from Ceara's bow and had an amazing view.
Here are just a few pictures...

More Hawaii Pics

Danny Boy
I got a kick out of Danny and Kyle's tatoos, looks like they've been branded,
or separated at birth
I couldn't get over how comfortable Dann was with Luke.
He's going to make a great dad some day.
This was taken above Winners Camp. Look at the sunshine, I remember sunshine...
Just a couple of bird shots from the hotel.
And our little boys toes...

David Letterman

Ever watch David Letterman? Doesn't Luke look like Paul Schafer in this picture?
So here is the reason we headed to Hawaii and man is he cute! It was so good to see him. He's changed so much since Christmas and he will have changed so much the next time we see him and will definitely be walking. He's pretty close right now. Hawaii certainly agrees with him, he loves sand (to eat) and he loves the water. He's going to be another fish like Aunty Heather.

I love this picture of Kyle and Luke!

Hawaii 2007, What A Surprise

So, there I was, sitting in the baggage area of the Honolulu airport waiting for Jim to find a place he could have a smoke. I had been sick the whole week before this trip and had been trying the old 'plug your nose and blow' trick to see if I could maybe actually hear something again when I saw a fellow walk through a door quite a ways away from me. I thought, "Gee, he looks like Danny", and then went back to trying to blow my ears off the sides of my head. Then Jim walked up to me and said we should get to the hotel, I stood up and I hear, "Hi Mom." OH MY GOD!!! I think I scared the pants off everyone in the airport and I'm sure I had every hormonal woman in tears as I kept saying, "Why are you here? Why are you here? Oh my God, are you really here?"
Turns out that wonderful husband of mine wanted to surprise me. I had really been worrying about Dan's health in Tainan. He had had a four month bout of pneumonia and the doctors basically told him that he is allergic to the air. Anyway, there he was, looking amazing and we had a fantastic week together. I'll write more later. I figure if I just do short little posts I won't have to throw the laptop and blogger into the ocean.
